CITIZEN PINOY will be part of the biggest Filipino festiva in the Tampa Bay Area – PhilFest 2014.

Once again, the Philippine Performing Arts Company, Inc.was invited by the Philippine Ministry of Tourism to grace the Philippine booth at the annual International Cruise Convention held at the Miami Convention Center on Tuesday, March 11, 2014.
It was another successful event with about 245 guests in attendance all spectacularly dressed in Gatsby outfits that everybody is still talking about it. There were no long speeches except for my short welcome speech and the recognition of past PAAT presidents and their families. Food was catered by Bayan Catering ang the Merienda Cena by Jolen’s Catering.
“Tawag ng Tanghalan” is solo vocal competition to be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 8:00PM at PhilFest. It is open to any Filipino-American, 16 years or older. Each contestant may or may not represent a Filipino-American organization, county or state and must not have won first prize in any past “Tawag ng Tanghalan” competition at PhilFest.
