SATURDAY, April 5, 2008: Get ready to be amazed and entertained as performers from all over the state compete and show off their own unique talents at REVOLUTION '08!
We are currently looking for individuals/teams to compete in this contest for the bragging rights and first place prize of $1000! Attached is the PhilFest Revolution Packet complete with the Competition Rules and Registration Form which is due no later than March 31, 2007; however, we must be notified ASAP (via email to philfest.revolution@gmail.com) if you are interested in competing! Please include in your email: (group) name, organization (if any), type of performance, and contact information. Thank you.
We hope you are as excited for PhilFest '08 and Revolution '08 as we are! Please spread the word and excitement! We hope to see you and many of your friends and family there and look forward to hearing from you soon! Thank you in advance for your support!

COMPETITION RULES:

1. All registration forms must be completed and submitted to the PhilFest Revolution ’08 Committee at philfest.revolution@gmail.com no later than March 31, 2008.

2. Optional dress rehearsal for PhilFest Revolution ’08 shall take place on the evening of Thursday, April 3, 2008 (date and time subject to change) at the Sinagtala Theater.

3. Each team must send at least two representatives to the mandatory PhilFest Revolution ’08 meeting starting precisely at 3:00pm on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at the left-hand side of the Sinagtala Theater; during which, all performers must submit two (2) copies of their music complete with (team) name and track number written on it with permanent pen.

4. All performers must be present backstage of the Sinagtala Theater, ready with all props and costumes, no later than 7:00pm, approximately one hour before the start of the show.

5. PhilFest Revolution ’08 will take place at the Sinagtala Theater on Saturday, April 5, 2008 and will start approximately at 8:00pm.

6. All performers must listen and follow all instructions given by the PhilFest Revolution ’08 Committee during the duration of the event.

7. Performers must be ready to enter the stage one act before their scheduled performance.

8. All performances shall not exceed seven whole minutes; except exhibition performances which shall not exceed ten whole minutes, unless approved otherwise.

9. Obscene lyrics and/or gestures will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification.

10. All participants must conduct themselves appropriately while on PCFI grounds as they will be representing their school/organization at PhilFest ‘08.
