PMS-AUX Inducts New Officers for 2014-2016
The Philippine Medcial Society of Florida, Inc. Auxiliary held its induction of Officers 2014-2016 at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center and also celebrated its 30th year Anniversary on July 25, 2014. The Officers inducted were: President- Edna Ramos, Vice President-Lizza Batas, Secretary-Teresa Santamaria, Asst. Secretary- Aileen Alvior, Treasurer-Florinda Mendoza, Auditor- Loida Espiritu, PR0-Agnes Aqui, PRO-Tita Ravi. Advisers: Beatrice Nunag and Rosemarie Dy. In addition, the presence of the first president and founder of the PMS Auxiliary in 1984, Ms. Richie Feir, was recognized and certainly was very inspiring to the ladies.
PMS Auxiliary is committed to assist in various activities of the Philippine Medical Society of Fl, Inc., Gulf Coast Chapter as Regular Committee, but also has its own goals and other mission. The Auxiliary group are small in numbers but dedicated hard working ladies who respond to a challenge and succeed.
During this special occasion, PMS and PMS Auxiliary honored and acknowledged the support and presence of everyone: advertisers, friends, doctors and members, the various Filipino organizations, the PCFI Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board Lari Ongoco for your time and effort, Mr. Roland Ongoco, Past Chairmen Roger & Angie Caculitan, dependable Patsy Abinales, MD, Miss Cherry Raber, Dance Instructor, Cameraman Christopher Crete, Susan Yason, Lulu Lozano, Marley Balderama, Lucy Bautista, and Mrs. Tina Tioseco and Mrs Thelma Floresca for help at registration and last but not least, to Mark Asperilla, MD the newest PMS member from out-of-town.
The attendance of members and friends , the very entertaining Hula Dance by the lady doctors, Auxiliary Officers, PCFI Chairman, PNA Gulf with Cherry not to mention the Delicious Luriat, the evening was another successful events.
