Once again the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex is abuzz with preparations now underway for PhilFest 2011 from the 8th to the 10th of April. The Philippine Cultural Foundation Board of Directors, with help from our youth and volunteers from the community  try their best to provide the 11,000-12,000 Filipinos and Filipino-Americans  who attend PhilFest a feeling of home away from home and the non-Filipinos a memorable glimpse of Philippine culture through dance, song, food, cultural exhibits, fashion shows , and colorful parades and processions. People from all walks of life coming from the Tampa Bay community and beyond take time off for a weekend of wholesome fun, delicious food and high class entertainment.

NOTE: As of Wednesday, January 26, 2011, all available schedules for passport applications and renewals have been filled out. We are no longer accepting any new applications. Applications for Dual Citizenship is still on-going at the Philippine Consulate office in Washington, D.C.

The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. and the Philippine Consular Office in Washington D.C., through the facilitation of the Pilipino American Political Aggregation, Inc. in Tampa, are once again bringing the Consular Office to Tampa through “Consulate-on-Wheels” at PhilFest 2011. Now fully scheduled from Friday to Sunday, April 8-10, 2011 from 9am to 12 Noon and 1:30PM to 5 PM,  the Consular Team will be stationed at the Cimafranca Library inside the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center to provide consular services to the public, including a Dual Citizenship Ceremony on April 10 at 2:00 PM at the Center’s Grand Sampaguita Hall. This is  an oath-taking event to re-acquire Philippine Citizenship pursuant to Republic Act No. 9225 otherwise known as the "Citizenship Retention and Reacquisition Act of 2003" and Memorandum Circular No. AFF-04-01, "Rules Governing Philippine Citizenship Under Republic Act (R.A.) No. 9225 and Administrative Order (A.O.) No. 91, Series of 2004" issued by the Bureau of Immigration.

The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc once again presents "Tanghalang Pambata" at PhilFest 2011. The competition will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Sinagtala Theater at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex where the festival is held. "Tanghalang Pambata" is a talent competition for Filipino-Americans between the ages of 5 and 15.

The Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. presents "Tawag ng Tanghalan 2011" Singing Competition at PhilFest 2011! This competition will be held on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 8PM at the Sinagtala Theater of the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex. Open to all Filipino-American singers, 16 years and older. PhilFest is a 3-day Filipino festival to be held from Friday to Sunday, April 8-10, 2011.

"Revolution 2011" is one of PhilFest's main highlights featuring a hip-hop dance contest and performances by the Fil-Am youth. This event will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 8:00 PM at the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex Sinagtala Theater at 14301 Nine Eagles Drive, Tampa, FL.
