For the benefit of its various cultural programs and the upkeep of the Philippine Cultural Enrichment Complex, the Philippine Cultural Foundation, Inc. will be holding its 18th Annual Charity Event, “Sampaguita Ball 2011” on Saturday, October 29, 2011 at the Bayanihan Arts and Events Center in Tampa, Florida at 6:00 PM. In this formal annual event, ladies are encouraged to wear any Maria Clara style or Filpiniana outfit or long evening gowns, while men may wear their Barong Tagalog or tuxedo.

Tickets are priced at $100 per person and all seats are reserved in advance. This price covers complimentary valet parking, Gold Open Bar, cocktails, full dinner and dance and Cena de Media Noche at midnight.

Dinner will be catered by Hao Wah Restaurant while entertainment will be provided by the live band Evelyn Rhythm-n-Motion. Special musical numbers will also be performed by PCFI’s resident artists, the Philippine Performing Arts Company, Musikong Kawayan Bamboo Ensemble and the Philippine Choral Group.

This year’s Sampaguita Ball is chaired by Mrs. Helen Piloneo with the support of the members of the Sampaguita Committee.
